Timeless - Meditation

This is a bit of an experiment into meditative music. There's so much ambient meditation stuff out there that I wondered if it was worth the effort.

Being ADHD/Neurodivergent, I find I need something that has a lot of depth and texture, gentle movement and definitely no loops (so much ambient is just a 3 minute piece looped for anything up to 8 hours or more), but it also has to be a little more than just a pleasant background to meditation, in fact, for me, it has to be part of the whole meditation experience in a way that helps still the chatter in my mind and provides a point of focus that is constantly shifting and changing.

For all you music geeks...
I used the track "Timeless" I wrote a couple of years ago as the starting point and time stretched it by 400% using Paulstretch and Audacity - each giving their own unique character to the end result. I move between the two throughout the whole piece while re-layering some of the original Timeless sounds, and creating new sounds and textures to build a constantly changing, slow motion wall of symphonic ambience.

It proved to be quite an ordeal, meticulously building and shaping sounds over the 27 minutes, but I believe it was worth it to create something that I feel is unique.

The video was created from personal, public domain and AI photography and clips with Kdenlive and VSDC.
The music was written and produced with Reason 12 and Arturia and Nektar controllers.
